Obie Trice Biography
Obie Trice was born on November 14, 1977 in Detroit, Michigan. His mother is raising him on the west side of Detroit. He is of African-American descent and has three other brothers. He learned to rhyme with instrumental music thanks to a karaoke machine his mother gave him for his eleventh birthday. He went to the rap battle with his friends at the age of fourteen. During these battles, he received supportive feedback and it was at this point that Trice began to take his rapping seriously. Additionally, with the help of D12 member Bizarre, he was introduced to Eminem.

In addition, he released additional singles for the album which contained around 17 tracks, including DON’T COME DOWN and THE SET UP. This album was released on August 15, 2006. After that he released BAR SHOTS, another mixtape.
He left Shady Records in 2008 after not getting the promotion he wanted. There is no evidence for the conventional wisdom that he had a feud with Eminem at the time that led to his departure from Shady Records. His compilation of eleven songs SPECIAL RESERVE was released on December 15, 2009. He made the decision to start his own music label on April 22, 2010.
