Gabby Thomas shares a hilariously relative reason that he is not a fan of Orempic.
On March 21, the 28-year-old Star of the Trail, who brought three gold medals at the Paris Summer Games in 2024, posted a video by Tiktoc and joked that they were the “hateful” of those who take trendy help in weight loss.
Omempic is a prescription drug that is approved by the FDA to treat type 2 diabetes. Drugs – take weekly injection into the thigh, stomach or hand – is a semaglutide brand, which acts in the brain to influence satiety.
The drug has gained popularity in Hollywood and beyond the last few years, because many people have been addressing the weight loss, even when it is not medically needed.
“No shade, but the girls on the ground really start nibbling on me,” she teased. “You mean to tell me, I’m struggling with a physical urge to go to the Milky Queen and get a blizzard. In the meantime, they don’t even think about food? I think about food all day.”
