When I was planning to return to the US, one of my friends who was involved in 3 Idiots told me that they were auditioning NRI actors for a role. Considering that I don’t speak Hindi and don’t watch Bollywood movies, I wasn’t interested in auditioning. On top of that, the character hasn’t been written yet. During my audition, I had to say lines from the movie Lage Raho Munna Bhai. I was very bold and careless in saying my lines, mostly because I didn’t think I would get the part. I got the role on my way home from an audition. ”
