Omid Scobie’s agent ‘DID send draft naming royals in “race” storm’ – despite claims he never revealed identities in book

Scobie’s OMID agent was reported to have sent a draft of the names of the royals at the center of the “race” storm – despite claims he never revealed their identities in his book.

Early Dutch copies of Scobie’s venomous Endgame suggested that Kate and Charles were the two royals who made the remarks about the skin color of Harry and Meghan’s first child, Archie.

Omid repeatedly insisted that he never handed over the book with the names of the two members of the royal family who were involved in the drama.

But now The Times reports that agency United Talent has sent a draft of the names of the royals to Dutch publisher Xander Uitgevers.

UTA also reportedly sent Xander a final version that didn’t include Kate and Charles’ names weeks before the announcement.

It is understood that the translator was interpreting an earlier version of the manuscript, not the final approved text.

Xander initially said the names were discovered in a “translational” mix-up – before claiming a “mistake” led to the printing.

Director Anke Roelen said: “Xander has temporarily removed the book from sale due to an error that occurred in the Dutch edition.”

The Sun has contacted UTA for comment.

Endgame – which has been refuted by royal experts – claims Meghan Markle named members of the royal family in letters to the king she accused of raising concerns about Archie’s skin colour.

In the English version of Endgame, Scobie says that British law does not give him names.

But two paragraphs in the translated version in the Netherlands lack the legal pronunciation, with King Charles and Princess Kate listed as the royals involved.

Piers Morgan named the royal couple on his TalkTV show on Wednesday night, saying names were already being floated overseas.

Other media, including the Guardian, the New York Times and the New York Post also followed suit.

On ITV’s This Morning yesterday, Scobie doubled down and insisted he had never named the royal family.

He claimed that he “never handed over a book containing their names”.

Scobie also denied that the Dutch farce was part of a publicity stunt and said an “investigation” had begun into what happened.

He said: “I have never submitted a book containing their names, so I can only speak for my version.

“I wrote and edited the English version of the book with a publisher.

“That then gets licensed to other publishers. I don’t know how to speak Italian, German, French, Dutch or any other language it’s published in.”

He also denied being “Meghan’s mouthpiece” or a “cheerleader” and was close to tears as he complained he had been treated unfairly.

Scobie, 42, reportedly holed up at a luxury hotel in West Hollywood – where the Mail reports he enjoyed burgers and cocktails.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, the Sussexes alleged that an unnamed member of the royal family had spoken about their son’s skin color – a story that appears to have changed several times.

No evidence was ever presented and Harry later said there were no allegations of “racism”.

Instead, they focused on an “unconscious bias” in the royal family.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be STRIPED of their royal titles under new “nuclear option” legislation.
