Instagram user @centraltucson.co, who has over 4,600 followers, shared the optical illusion.

“Is it just us or are these things getting harder… Can you find the hidden cat?” they wrote a post.

They used the hashtags #hiddencats and #cactusflowers to make the picture go viral.

The challenge proved almost impossible for anyone who wasn’t a true animal lover.

Can you spot the cat in 15 seconds or less?

Many people were confused by the mind manipulator, and one person even wondered if it was a trick.

“Are you sure there’s a cat in there?” they wrote.

The plants seem to be all different sizes and shapes, making it difficult to know what to focus your search on.

Bright colors stand out, but the mischievous cat somehow manages to hide perfectly in plain sight.

If you have a hard time spotting the cat, try to look more closely at the areas of the picture where there is a shadow.

Think you’ve spotted it yet?

Here’s a tip: take a closer look at the trees on the left side of the picture.

If you still can’t spot the deer, scroll down for the solution below.
