Unlike other game shows, there’s no need to do any general knowledge, history, sports or other pub quiz basics, as common sense and logic are the keys to victory.
It begins with a question that 90 percent of the public answered correctly and continues until the final round, where only one percent of the polled group gave the correct answer.
The show, which averaged 4.5 million viewers last series, regularly sparks arguments in living rooms across the nation – and host Lee couldn’t be happier about it.
He says: “Once again, I’m delighted to be causing strife in the household, while children mock their parents for not being as smart as them.
“But us adults can stay out as long as we want, so we have the last laugh.”
Ahead of the return of The 1% Club on Saturday, show creators Magnum Media have shared a special quiz for The Sun readers to sharpen their skills.
So grab a pen and paper and set a timer of 30 seconds for each question.
Write down your answers and see if you’re smarter than your family, friends… and most of the nation.
