Padmapriya Janakiraman was born on Thursday, February 28, 1980 in Delhi (44 years old; as of 2024). She studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya Trimulgherry School in Secunderabad, Telangana, India. In 1997, Padmapriya studied for a diploma in Bharatanatyam, a major form of Indian classical dance, from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University in Hyderabad, Telangana. Padmapriya graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Loyola College, Alwar, Secunderabad, Telangana (1997-2000). In 2000, she pursued an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS), Harihar, Karnataka. Padmapriya received a Postgraduate Diploma in Indian Environmental Protection Law and International Convention Studies from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Karnataka (2007-2008). Padmapriya Janakiraman pursued a Master of Public Administration degree at New York University, New York (2012-2015), with a focus on public finance and international development.
