Paige DeSorbo isn’t interested in fan theories about why she and Craig Conover broke up.
The Summer house star, 32, announced on the Monday, Dec. 30, episode of her podcast Giggly Squad that she and Southern charm star, 35, broke up after three years of dating. The former couple began dating in 2021 after appearing on Winter house together.
After DeSorb’s announcement, fans speculated about their split on social media — and now the reality star is giving her opinion.
One user posted a video on TikTok on Dec. 30, claiming that DeSorbo should have decided to “settle down” Conover much earlier, and she extended their relationship for no reason. In response, DeSorbo wrote, “May friends like this never find me.”
Another user posted a video of her boyfriend grumbling about the former couple’s split, claiming that fans would have to “be blind not to see this” after their frequent disagreements on the show, and that it was DeSorbo’s “call” to end things because she ” spoke very loudly about what she wanted”. Commenting on the Jan. 1 clip, DeSorbo wrote, “We love the gossip king.”

Another fan posted a since-deleted video on Jan. 1, claiming DeSorbo “broke up” with Conover after learning he was going to “propose,” according to Page Six. The move ultimately “caught him off guard” and “ruined the proposal,” Page Six reported, citing a fan video.
DeSorbo then reportedly responded to the video, writing, “I’m obsessed with all this fan fiction.”
But when the same fan posted a video on Jan. 2, claiming DeSorbo was caught “cheating” Southern charm star with an “internet personality” who isn’t on TV or a celebrity, DeSorbo seemingly got it all right.
She appears to have denied the allegations in the comments section and even threatened to take legal action. “See you in court,” she wrote.

DeSorbia’s comments come days after she told her Giggly Squad co-host Hannah Berner and their listeners that the breakup “was the right decision for both of us to move forward in our lives and a direction in our lives that we didn’t force.”
“I love and respect Craig so much. I think he’s one of the best people I’ve ever met in my entire life. I’ll remain his biggest fan and wish him the best, and he’s really going to get the best because he’s the best,” she said.

“I love him, I think he loves me,” she added. “I think we will remain friends. Nobody did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we were both very mature and said what we wanted and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to express how you feel in real time and what you want for your future. ”
“As you get older, I mean, I started dating Craig when I was 29 and now I’m 32,” she said. “And your 30s, for women, I feel like they’re very transformative. And you change a lot and you grow a lot. So does he.”

While DeSorbo has been candid about the breakup, Conover has yet to comment. Weeks before they split, Conover told PEOPLE that they planned to marry one day.
“We’re playing the long game. It would be easy to go for instant gratification, but the foundation we’re building is to die together one day, not just to make it fun,” he said at the time. “We know we’re going to get married one day, and when that happens, it’s going to be a lot of fun, but when that will be, who knows?”

Following their breakup, the DeSorbo pillow line appears to have been removed from Conover’s Sewing Down South lifestyle website. The link, which led to “The Paige Collection,” was suddenly empty.
The note on the screen reads: “This page does not exist. Try to look for what you want to find.”
