Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie have a lot in store for fans when they return A simple life.
In May, PEOPLE learned that the real-life best friends are reuniting for a new reality TV series 16 years after their original series ended.
Hilton, 43, teased that the reboot would “be so iconic” as she expressed her excitement to work with Richie, 42, again on “such a special show”.
“I’m so excited to be working with this Nicole on the Peacock. Nicole has been my best friend since we were 2 years old, all my memories are with her,” Hilton told Hey! News. “I can’t wait for the fans to see.”

The stars have been teasing fans about what’s to come with the new reality show since it was announced last month.
In a joint Instagram post, they shared a clip of a vintage-looking TV filled with static, with the caption “New Era. Same Besties. π―ββοΈ Coming soon to the Peacock.”
The comments were filled with excitement from fans and other stars, including Jersey ShoreNicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who wrote, “STAHPPPPPPPP,”

It’s “the show that started it all,” as Hilton said in a December post marking the premiere’s 20th anniversary.
“Filming this series with @NicoleRichie has been one of the most special, funniest, and most colorful times of my life. π,” she wrote. “I’m so lucky to have these amazing memories!! π.”

The girls are excited, but Lionel Richie joked that fans will have to “hold on.” [their] headquarters” while the reboot is in progress.
“They are older, but they haven’t changed, believe me. Let me tell you something, the two of them scare me just standing next to each other,” he said Party tonight.
“I don’t know if the world knows this, [but] they started this mess and I was the first papa guinea pig to go along with it.”

Nicole recently got another family take on the show, she said Diversity that her kids aren’t really the biggest fans A simple life.
“A simple life apparently she’s having a big moment on TikTok, so they told me they’re watching clips on TikTok,” Richie said of her daughter Harlow, 16, and son Sparrow, 14, who she shares with Joel Madden. “Their friends are watching it. I keep rolling my eyes at home. It’s in line with how I’m generally seen.”
