The son of a theater artist, Parmish inherited his father’s love for language, art and theatre. He joined the school’s drama group in fourth grade. Parmish Verma started her career as a video director in 2014 by directing the music video of the Punjabi song “Zimmewari Bhukh Te Doori”. The video tells the story of a teenage immigrant and was inspired by his own life. He then directed the music video for Ninja’s song “Thokda Reha” which became a huge hit. While the police were still investigating the case, gangster Dilpreet Singh Dhahan admitted responsibility for the attack in a post on his Facebook account. Dahan was arrested by Haryana police on April 15, 2018, from Solan district in Himachal Pradesh.
