After the punk icon, 76, was released from a hospital in Bologna, Italy due to a “sudden illness,” she took to Instagram to update fans on her health. Along with a photo of herself smiling alongside a team of doctors, she thanked the hospital for her treatment and shared that she was “resting as the doctor ordered,” in the caption.

Since the rocker canceled two concerts in Bologna and Venice scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday due to hospitalization, she began her statement with an apology for the postponement of the performance. “This is a thank you to everyone at the hospital for their help and guidance,” the musician/poet wrote. “I am very sorry that we had to cancel the concerts in Bologna and Venice. I will return to fulfill my joyful obligations.”
