Pawan Sehrawat started his kabaddi journey at a very young age and made his mark in the district and state leagues. During his trials at Northern Railways, his superb performances caught the attention of coach Randhir Singh, who made him the TE director of Indian Railways. This role allowed him to compete nationally as a defender. Later, he moved to the Pro Kabaddi League as a raider in 2016 and started his first season in the league in his third year.

Impressed by Pawan’s good performances in the National Senior Kabaddi Championship and Confederations Cup, the Bangalore Bulls decided to select Pawan for his third season in the Professional Kabaddi League. In his first season, he scored 45 points and eight tackles in 13 games. Over the next few seasons, Pawan showed his talents for Gujarat Fortune Giants and Tamil Talivas, scoring important raids and tackles. He won the title of the best predator in the sixth, seventh and eighth seasons. In his ninth season, he was selected by Tamil Talaywas for a whopping Rs 2.26 billion, making him the most expensive player in league history.
