A Pawn Star representative revealed he died of an overdose, and the family learned on Friday, they told TMZ.

News also revealed that Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating the case, although the exact circumstances surrounding his death have not been released.

Adam was just one of Rick’s children.

The History Channel star also has Corey, 40, with his first wife.

Rick is also father to his youngest, Jake, from his second marriage.

LIFE AWAY FROM TV

While Corey and Jake were featured on the hit antiques show, Adam chose to stay out of the limelight.

However, he previously worked at his father’s famous gold and silver pawn shop in Las Vegas, Nevada, but decided it wasn’t the job for him.

Little is known about Adam’s personal or professional life outside of TV Pawn Shop, but TMZ reported that he may have worked as a plumber or in some other local trade.

MORE ABOUT PAWN STARS

The decade-old series first debuted in 2009 and followed the employees of a family-run pawn shop in Las Vegas.

Cameras capture people looking to sell their old antiques from a wide range of topics: fine art, pop culture, money, jewelry, comics, and more.

The main stars of the series are Rick, Corey, Chumlee and The Old Man.

Fans can go to the pawnshop as the store is open from 10pm to 5.30pm every day and the pawnshop window is open 24 hours a day.

The store is located at 713 Las Vegas Blvd. So. Las Vegas, NV 89101.

RICK’S CONNECTION

Rick was married several times.

He now has a total of three exes, including Deanna, who he divorced on July 1, 2020, according to court documents cited by TMZ.

He filed for divorce in Clark County, Nevada, and in the documents, the TV star claimed that the TV star’s “tastes, mental inclinations, views, likes and dislikes” diverged so much that they became incompatible in marriage.

The outlet revealed that Deanna initially sought alimony, but that the couple eventually reached an agreement in September 2020 and that all issues such as alimony, child support and property division were resolved as part of that agreement.

The TV personality told TMZ that the marriage “didn’t work out and [the divorce] it was a mutual decision.”

HIS SECOND MARRIAGES

Rick married his first wife Kim Harrison in 1982.

They married after Kim suffered a miscarriage when Rick was just 17, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

The couple had their first child, Corey, on April 27, 1983. Two years later, their second child, Adam, was born.

But not long after Adam’s birth, Harrison and Kim split up.

Rick met his second wife Tracy on a blind date. They married in 1986, and Celebrity Net Worth reported that they “took responsibility for raising Corey and Adam.”
