Peloton's Kristin McGee Announces She’s Leaving After 6 Years: 'Not a Final Goodbye'

Kristin McGee has announced that she is leaving Peloton.

On June 17, the 50-year-old posted a heartfelt video on Instagram announcing her retirement from the fitness company after six years.

“I’m popping in here to unfortunately let you know that I’m leaving Peloton,” she began. “I’ve had the most amazing past six years. What an amazing adventure, so many wonderful experiences, so much growth. Meeting all of you was the highlight of my past six years on the mat with all of you.”

“It’s been such an amazing community and I’m going to miss you all so much,” she said, fighting back tears.

McGee stressed that she appreciates the support she’s had over the years and said she made the decision to spend time with her family.

“It’s not a final goodbye,” she said. “As I always say at the end of the lecture, please don’t forget that everything you can want, have or need is within you. I love you so much.”

“Please stay in touch here and here’s to the next chapter 🫶🏼,” she added in the caption.

McGee first joined the fitness company in December 2018, becoming one of three instructors to help launch yoga classes on the platform. Her departure comes just days after Kendall Toole also announced she was leaving the company.

Following the news, a Peloton spokesperson released a statement leaving the door open for possible refunds.

“Our doors will always be open to them, so this is not a final goodbye, but we hope to see them later,” the company said. “As we think about the future of Peloton, we are excited about the opportunity to bring new talent to our roster of instructors to continue to offer a best-in-class experience to our Members.”
