People StyleWatch Spring 2024: A Letter from the Editor

What is the hottest trend for spring? No, it’s not flowers. This is Love. From Taylor Swift’s Chiefs merch and Bella Hadid’s cowboy hats to Channing Tatum’s Saint Laurent suit and Bradley Cooper’s Guest in Residence outfit, these madly in love celebs seem to be getting their fashion inspiration straight from their loved ones.

The trend is currently even more evident on the red carpet, where celebrity couples are stepping out in coordinated combinations more than ever. (Think Emily Blunt and John Krasinski at the Oscars in off-white).

After wear time spending too much time discussing Pookie and Jett of all, we couldn’t help but wonder (Carrie Bradshaw voiceover accent): Is love the biggest influence? (I doubt I would have worn JNCO jeans to begin with if it weren’t for my huge crush on a guy who bought exclusively from what was then known as Pacific Sunwear.)

Inside this issue of PEOPLE StyleWatch (brought to you with our partner, OxiClean, the brand that literally works magic on clothes and inspired this helpful roundup of the best cleaning tricks we learned from TikTok), you’ll find inspo for spring night outs, his and hers holiday bucket list, hottest new fragrances and more. (Even if you’re now happily single, you’ll still find plenty of spring wardrobe inspiration!)

Our cover couple, Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg, know a thing or two about cohesive style. The two, who married in 2015 and will become parents to twins in 2021, posed for our shoot in complementary outfits before sitting down with PEOPLE’s Andrea Mandell to discuss everything from their first red carpet together to the competition for a place in the closet.

We end the issue with an interview with another stylish couple, Matthew Lawrence and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas. The duo, who made their relationship official on Instagram in 2023, say they’re matched right down to their shoes. Literally. They revealed that the oldest item in their closets is a pair of classic motorcycle boots, further confirming our theory that a couple who dress together, stays together.

Enjoy the release!
