Dmitry found Styopka and brought him home, back to Kirishsky Regional District, on Friday November 22, after the pet escaped and escaped two days earlier.
Disaster struck when the owner and his orange cat went back inside.
That evening, a wild cat scratched Dmitry’s leg, causing him to bleed.
Dmitri, who is diabetic, could not stop the blood loss due to his body’s weak ability to form clots.
This disaster was made worse because Dmitry was home alone as his wife was out, so he had to call his neighbors to tell them he was dying.
He managed to call the doctors when his bleeding did not stop.
A local police officer confirmed that the extent of Dmitri’s injuries meant he died before paramedics arrived at the scene.
The officer said: “Around 11 p.m., a man called 112 and reported that his friend was bleeding from his leg due to a torn vein.
– The doctors who arrived only confirmed the death of the man, about which the police received a phone message.
His neighbor said that they gave Dmitri first aid, but claimed that the medics took a long time to arrive.

Dmitri’s wife Natalija said that Stjopka liked to walk alone, he was kind and harmless.
The fate of the killer cat is not yet clear as forensic experts have yet to confirm the pet owner’s cause of death.
This is not the only recent incident where an animal has unexpectedly killed a man in Russia, The Sun reported.
A father and son were mauled to death by a giant bear after the animal broke into their home.
The couple, aged 87 and 56, died in Luchegorsk, Primorsky Krai in eastern Russia.
This man-eating beast also killed 35 dogs at a shelter near the family home.
The dogs were chained in the shelter and couldn’t escape because the wild bear ripped them off within minutes.
The director of the dog shelter, Olga Zamyshlyaeva, said: “Our shelter is located in a forest area, and the fence is wooden and weak.
“A bear came in at night and 35 dogs died.”
She said that the asylum did not have security, but they discovered bear tracks at the scene.
