Ankit Agarwal was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He studied at Woodbine Gardenia School in Kanpur and then at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School in Kanpur. He completed his studies in 2007 from Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Center, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur. In 2007, he enrolled in SCTR Pune College of Computer Technology and received his degree in Computer Engineering in 2011. In 2012, he studied at SCTR Pune College of Computer Technology, Pune. Flower waste is collected and used to make charcoal-free incense, essential oils, soaps and vermicomposts. They discovered the idea of converting waste flowers into a leather-like material that resembles animal leather and can be used for different purposes. This material is called “Fleather”. They also employed poor women from across the country.
