Pete Davidson: comedian, actor and … grill master?

The Saturday night live alum will star in two new commercials for Totino’s during the NFL playoff season, and in honor of the commercials debuting Monday, he spoke with PEOPLE exclusively about game day food — and beyond.

“I’ve been honing my skills to become a master griller, but I’m always a fan of making spaghetti,” Davidson says of his meals.

He also does not hesitate to eat his creations for several days. “I know some people don’t like leftovers, but I actually enjoy finishing my leftovers,” adds Davidson.

In his Totino’s ads, the New York native hopes to inspire fans to ditch pizza delivery for pizza dough. One of the spots features Davidson hosting a next-level viewing party with snacks popping out of the couch and rolling down a coffee table conveyor belt.

In real life, Davidson says his game days are “pretty chill. I usually invite my friends and my mom over to watch the games with me.” For the upcoming Super Bowl in 2024, “I’m going to invite my friends over to watch the game, and I’ve been doing that for the past few years,” he says.

Along with Totino’s, Davidson says he serves “chips, salsa and other dips” plus wings and candy.

“I’ve always been a huge fan of Totino’s. The bite-sized pizza rolls are the perfect game day snacks that I’ve enjoyed since I was a kid. So when the brand approached me about this campaign, I had to say yes,” she tells PEOPLE. about partnership. “I get to eat all the Totino’s Pizza Rolls my heart desires while I’m on set and who can tell?”
