At first, having recently divorced, the Doctor Who star couldn’t imagine getting married again, but Morton’s perspective has changed. Davison revealed to the DailyMail that his relationship with Morton was initially “fun and lighthearted”. Other than that, the two had no future plans or commitments. He began to take her relationship seriously after she informed him of her pregnancy.
Although the pregnancy was unplanned, the couple were devastated when they learned the baby had died in utero during a sonogram at four months of age. Davison and his wife tried to give birth one more time. Morton moved in with him after she became pregnant for the second time. Morton sold her apartment, and the proceeds were used to settle Davison’s divorce from his ex-wife. In 1999, Davison and Morton welcomed their first child, a son, Louis. Two years later, she gave birth to another son, Joel. Davison married Moron on August 4, 2003.
Sandra Dickinson – Peter Davison’s ex-wife
Davison was previously married to Dickinson for more than 15 years before meeting his current wife. They walked even longer – about 20 years. Davison and Dickinson were married on December 26, 1978. Six years later, on December 25, 1984, the day before their sixth wedding anniversary, they welcomed a child together, Georgia Moffett. Their marriage was fraught with difficulties, and the two divorced in 1994.
The actor claimed that his ex-wife was trying to drain him financially. He paid £30,000 in maintenance after their divorce, but Dickinson tried to get more financial support.
At one point he was even served with a summons and faced jail time if he didn’t pay. Davison was previously married to Diane Russell before he met Dickinson. His first marriage, however, was short, lasting only two years (from 1973 to 1975).
David Tennant’s daughter got married
Georgia Davison, Davison’s daughter, is married to Doctor Who star David Tennant. Tennant and his daughter first met in 2008 when they starred together in the Doctor Who episode “The Doctor’s Daughter”. They started dating shortly after and were married three years later on December 30, 2011.
