There are no hard feelings between Emma Slater and her ex Sasha Farber.
Slater, 34, said he is a professional dancer along with Farber, 39. Dancing with the stars “not a nightmare at all” more than six months after she filed for divorce.
“We support each other so much that I wish the best for Sasha,” she told E! News. “I love him and Alyson [Hannigan] together in the show. We support each other, very, very sincerely.”

The television personality admitted that both she and Farber stepped in to help choreograph the dances for their Season 32 partners, Mauricio Umansky and Hannigan, despite competing against each other for the mirror ball.
“I will help him with his dance, and he will help me with my dance. That’s what we do, all of us professionals together,” she added. “I don’t feel that competition with him at all.”
Slater’s comments come less than two months after she described the reason for their split to Nick Viall Viall files podcast.
“We’re still a family, so it’s not like there’s no love, it’s not really that at all,” she said in August. “We’re just in potentially two different places. But the hardest thing was that the love didn’t really go away [away].”

“It’s really a kid thing. It’s interesting because I want to have children, I just don’t want to delay Sasha’s path in having children because I know he is ready for it. I don’t want to talk too much about him because it’s really up to him to say, but it’s about the kids.”
She continued: “I want children. I don’t know what it is, I’m just figuring it out myself. It’s not something I take lightly and I don’t want to get into something I’m not sure about because I would never do it.”
Slater went on to explain that she and Farber had discussed family planning during their time together, but she felt “resistance” in the time before their breakup.

“So that was the real friction and the really hard part,” she said. “It had nothing to do with him. He was always very much himself. It’s hard for me to understand why I feel different.”
The couple married in 2018 after dating for years. Their engagement took place during a live recording DWTS in October 2016. News of their separation broke in August 2022, although PEOPLE confirmed that the legal separation date is April 1, 2022.
In February, Slater filed for divorce from her husband of four years, citing irreconcilable differences, according to the divorce filing obtained by PEOPLE.
“Emma and Sasha are still close,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE at the time. “There is no bad blood between them.”
