Phaedra Parks goes for her peach and returns The Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 16 — and she wants to see another RHO alum back on screen with her.
While discussing her new IT Cosmetics campaign “Keep It Real,” Parks — who announced her return to the Bravo reality series on Instagram on July 29 — tells PEOPLE that she hopes Kim Zolciak will rejoin the cast to spice things up.
“If Kim Zolciak comes back, I think that would be very interesting. Kim is TV gold. She’s always been TV gold,” says Parks, 50, acknowledging Zolciak’s current busy schedule.
Besides acting on MTV Surreal lifeZolciak, 46, is the mother of six children – daughters Brielle, 27, Ariana, 22, and Kaia, 10, and sons Kroy Jr. (nickname KJ), 13, Kash, 12 and Kane, 10 – with estranged husband Kroy Biermann.
“She’s got a lot going on right now,” Parks says of her former co-star. “Who would have thought that Kim, who is gone from two daughters, now has a whole little basketball team of kids!”

More, Traitors star believes Zolciak would be a welcome addition to the series for both the cast and fans.
“I think everyone would love to see Kim come back,” he said Married to medicine says the star. “She’s fun. I think it would add an element that girls wouldn’t expect.”
As for her own triumphant return to RHOParks tells PEOPLE it was “a real welcome home feeling.” While fans have been clamoring for her comeback for some time, she says she was simply waiting for the right moment. When that moment came, “they called and I answered,” Parks explains.
Lawyer — who joined first RHO in Season 3 and left in Season 9 — says he hopes to bring the popular TV show back “to its prime.”

“We were franchise number 1 Housewives and I was a part of making that franchise a successful franchise. And I’d love to bring the franchise back to its prime,” she says.
“I will say this, it’s going to be an amazing season,” teases Parks. “I mean, it will certainly resemble Housewives you love originally.”

Porsha Williams will also return for season 16 after a two-season absence — and Parks is excited to reunite with her friend and give her some fun moments. “Of course, I love Porsha,” Parks tells PEOPLE. “We are the original frick and frack.”
The Season 16 cast will also include Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, Brittany Eady and Angela Oakley. Former cast member Cynthia Bailey will appear as a friend.
