Pink Hits Back at Troll Who Says She ‘Got Old,’ Says She’s Glad to ‘Piss Off Complete Strangers Just by Existing’

Pink will not be ashamed of aging.

The singer-songwriter, 44, called aging a “blessing” as she applauded an online troll who mocked her looks.

After sharing the news that her summer carnival tour is adding additional dates X, the platform formerly known as Twitterone user felt the need to comment “Pink is getting old.”

While others were quick to defend the singer, saying with sarcasm: “It’s almost like people age as time goes on?” and “This just in, people age,” it was Pink who performed with the ultimate clapback.

“Yes, even though I don’t feel old and I still wear a leotard to work, aging is actually my first “gratitude” every day,” she announcedreferring to the tight bodysuits she wears for the aerial acrobatics she performs on tour.

She continued, “What a blessing to have life, age. To be this strong, to still be able to piss off complete strangers just by existing. F— yes times 44!”

It’s not the first time the “Trustfall” singer has taken haters to task online; she previously sounded off on another commentator who criticized her for aging naturally.

Pink says she almost died after overdosing at rave: ‘I went off the rails’

“You must be from LA,” the mother of two wrote in 2018 when someone tweeted that she looked “so old she should be called Purple.”

Well, there are a few people left in the world who choose to age naturally. And I’ve earned every fucking minute of my 38 years. But what do you look like? Because I never heard of you until you put my name in your mouth. I’ll call you little purple troll.”

After the initial response, Pink sent out a tweet clarifying her stance on aging once and for all.

“I’m of the opinion that getting older is a blessing – that if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you’ve laughed a lot,” she explained. “I pray I look 10 years older, because that means I’m alive.”

She also got angry at a commentator who criticized her for publicly sharing a family photo on Instagram.

“Yes, I like to promote healthy things,” she wrote. “I also like to remind people to stop being TOTAL D— BAGS. Consider this your reminder, is—o.”

After the commenter replied, “and hell, I was coming to see you Sunday night in Nashville…I still love the music,” Pink responded, “that doesn’t change my answer. It just confuses you.”

And in September, Pink (real name: Alecia Moore) shared that she used an unflattering Photoshopped image to teach her daughter Willow, 12, a lesson about online bullying and “ignorance.” (She and husband Carey Hart, 48, also have a son, Jameson, 6.)

“I just showed my 12-year-old daughter your post. I explained to her that I’ve never met you, I don’t know you and I have no idea why you would bother to hate,” she wrote to a commenter, who deleted their post.

“That was a good lesson in ignorance. Thank you. I still don’t know you. Congratulations. You are nobody,” she ended the post.
