Ree Drummond’s Christmas was merry and bright.
The A pioneer star and husband Ladd hosted them at their newly renovated home on their Pawhuska, Oklahoma ranch. Ree previously revealed that all of their children plan to come home for the holidays, including daughters Alex, 26, and Paige, 23, who live away from home, and sons Bryce, 21, and Todd, 19, and adopted son Jamar Goff, 21. who are all in college.
According to the family’s annual tradition, the team decorated the halls in matching pajamas.
Ree and her youngest daughter shared a selfie in which some of the family members are wearing pajama sets. In the video, Jamar, Ladd, Paige, Todd and Ree are coordinated in Rudolph the Reindeer outfit. The hood of each shirt is decorated with ears, horns and a red nose.

In 2022, the Drummond family traveled to Vail, Colorado while their house was under construction. But even across state lines, the crew continued its pleasant tradition.

Ree posted a video of her family dancing in front of a Christmas tree, all wearing the same green and yellow elf pajamas, complete with coordinating green hats.
Paige discovered another Drummond Christmas tradition: biscuits and gravy on Christmas morning. A University of Arkansas student shared a photo on Dec. 25 showing her plate. “Another favorite tradition,” she wrote.

Ree, who also hosted Thanksgiving at home, said she is very excited to be together for Christmas this year.
“Ladd and I finally finished our new house, and when I say I started putting away my plates and napkins a little early (is six weeks too early?), I’m not exaggerating,” she said in a Dec. 12 blog post. .
On Thanksgiving, Alex posted a clip of their family turkey day, which included her husband Mauricio Scott and their dog George. “So much to be thankful for 🥰,” she captioned her post.

Ree has been open about the feelings that come with being an empty nester since her youngest son, Todd, left for college.

“My anxiety was extreme,” she said. “Yet here we are, Ladd and I, with almost a year of empty nesting under our belts, and we’re still living and breathing (and eating!) — and looking forward to all the kids coming home for the holidays.”
“Life is going to happen whether we’re ready for it or not,” she added, “and one thing I’m learning over and over again is that it’s going to be okay.”
