PnB Rock’s Girlfriend Says She’s ‘In the Deepest Depression’ Since His Death: ‘I Will Push Thru’

On the anniversary of Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock’s fatal murder, his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang has opened up about her struggle with depression following his death.

“I’ve been in the worst depression for a few minutes thinking about today’s date, which is a year since your transition,” the designer and influencer began in her heartfelt Instagram message to her 700,000 followers on Tuesday.

“I argued with God about openly reliving this day and I absolutely did not want to, so this is an act of obedience,” Sibounheuang, who has a three-year-old daughter Xuri with the rapper, continued in her post. “On this same day last year, you could have looked into my eyes and said my soul was not in my body.” PnB Rock, whose real name is Rakim Hasheem Allen, was shot during a robbery on September 12, 2022, while dining with Sibounheuang at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles in Los Angeles. He was 30 years old.

“All I could hear was gunshots over and over and they were so LOUD I couldn’t hear my own thoughts. I was so terrified and heartbroken,” Sibounheuang recalled. “You came to me and Lana in all white and said it wasn’t gunshots, it was fireworks.”

A few weeks after his death, Sibounheuang (32) wrote on Instagram that she would not be alive if it were not for the rapper’s sacrifice.

“My man saved my life by throwing me under that table. I shouldn’t be here, but before him. I am,” she wrote. “Nobody could handle this.”
