In Sinnoh’s distant past, as shown Pokémon Legends: Arceus, people called Wardens are tasked with guarding the noble Pokémon of the Emerald Region, but many of the Wardens in the game are terrible at their jobs. The Pokémon nobility are held in equal measure with awe and respect, while those chosen as guardians by the Diamond and Pearl clans carry a heavy burden. These wardens can’t stop their point guard from going crazy. Watchers identify players’ favorite foods to form “balms” that are used to calm the madness of nobles, but they allow outsiders to risk their lives to appease Pokémon rather than doing it themselves.
In addition to shifting responsibility to the game’s protagonist, many Wardens stand in the way of ending the madness of the noble Pokémon they are entrusted with, especially Warder Merry, who is easily one of the most unlikeable characters in the Pokémon series one. To a certain extent, Overwatch can be forgiven for allowing noble Pokémon to enter a state of madness, since it’s an alien phenomenon to them.players often search for Legend: Arceus Rare Pokémon and items warp space and time, but these strange rifts also cause nobles to fall into uncontrollable rage. Most of the Watch showed enough concern for the condition of their charge to reluctantly accept help from outsiders in the Galactic Expedition.
The protagonist receives advice about the nobles’ favorite foods, which are used to make balms.Soothe the noble Pokémon Legend: Arceus Handled through action-based combat, players dodge attacks from nobles and hurl balsam at them until their rage subsides. Understandably, some Wardens, such as the older Kalaba, don’t engage in dodge rolls and balm-throwing contests. However, other wardens in their prime had no such excuse.
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Few Watchers Are Competent and Logical
Some wardens appear to be competent and have their own priorities. Pokémon Legends: Arceus Warden Ingo travels through time just like the player character. Although Ingo’s use of Poké Balls and fascination with Pokémon battles make him something of an oddity among the Ancient Emeralds, he takes his duties more seriously than many others. Pearl Clan Guardian Ingo personally guides players through treacherous caves and provides them with help climbing steep cliffs using his leader, Snixle, a mountain Pokémon. He does this so that the hero can help the Diamond Clan (a theologically rival faction) stop the madness of the noble Pokémon Electrode.
Merry, the Watcher of the Electrode, actively prevents the Noble’s madness, forcing players to fight him repeatedly. He rationalizes this with empty rhetoric that the frenzy could be a message from the gods and that they have no right to interfere. However, the Noble Pokémon is clearly affected by the time warp, a fact that all other Wardens intuitively understand. Merry’s lack of empathy for his own appointed nobility is a bit disturbing.
Series veterans may recognize that many of Watchmen’s Pokémon Legends: Arceus Are the ancestors of characters appearing in earlier games, which take place later in the Sinnoh timeline. While their descendants may be proud to learn of their Warden ancestor’s prestigious mission, they may be ashamed of how they behaved in the presence of the demented. Perhaps the Warden Company has some reason to test the protagonist’s skills before the hero successfully suppresses the first crazed Pokémon Klevor. Beyond that, it would appear irrational for a Overwatch player to continue to slow progress after the hero has shown the ability and willingness to solve the problem.
Legend: Guardians of Arceus should help their Pokémon or stand aside
Sabi forces players to engage in long chases before offering them brave help to help them fly. Several Watchers battled the hero to test their strength and resolve, but none of them were as mean-spirited and vengeful as Merry.if the guards are in Legend: Arceus I don’t think the protagonist is up to the task of helping the nobles, they should do it themselves or get out of the way so the hero can at least give it a try. These trials provide players with more gameplay challenges Pokémon Legends: Arceusbut they also reflect completely inappropriate priorities and judgments that make many Watchers unworthy of their titles.
