Popeyes is showing heart this Valentine’s Day.
The fast-food chain has announced that it will be offering a limited-edition strawberry heart-shaped biscuit for three weeks this month. The special holiday item puts a fruity twist on the restaurant’s signature fried chicken butter biscuits by adding strawberry chunks and a creamy frosting.
For every heart-shaped cookie purchased, Popeyes will donate $1 to the Popeyes Serving with Love Foundation, which supports national and local nonprofits that provide food to people in need.
The cookies will be available starting at $1.79 each from February 5th through February 25th, while supplies last (price varies by location). If the heart-shaped cookies sell out at the restaurant, the regular strawberry cookies will count toward the fundraising campaign.
Popeyes introduced heart-shaped cookies in honor of another special occasion — National Buttermilk Biscuits Day — in May 2019. And last spring, the brand’s regular-shaped strawberry cookies made their debut.

Popeyes is not the only food chain that got into the spirit of Valentine’s Day.
On Monday, Krispy Kreme unveiled the Dough-Notes collection, four new heart-shaped donuts available from January 29 through Valentine’s Day.
The red sprinkled “You Color My World” donut is filled with Kreme cookie dough filling, and the pink, sugar-covered “You’re Berry Sweet” donut is filled with classic white filling and dipped in strawberry frosting and sprinkles.

The “I Love You A Choco-Lot” donut filled with chocolate and chocolate ice comes with a rose on top. And the “I’d Fall Apart Without You” donut comes with a Kreme cookie dough filling and is topped with chocolate frosting and crumbled chocolate chip cookies.
White Castle recently announced that it will bring back its reservations-only Valentine’s Day dinner. On February 14, the fast food restaurant will transform into a “fine-dining” sit-down restaurant.
