Posani Krishna Murali is an Indian screenwriter, actor, director and producer who works primarily in the Telugu film industry. He has worked as a screenwriter on more than 100 Telugu films. As an actor, he is known for his comedic roles in several films.

Posani Krishna Murali was born on Wednesday, January 22, 1958, in Pedakakani, Andhra Pradesh, India (65 years old as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Aquarius. Posani went to school in Guntur district. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in commerce. Later, he pursued his MA in Literature from Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur. In 2009, he contested on the ticket of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections from Chilakaluripet constituency and lost. In 2011, Posani parted ways with the Praja Rajyam Party and joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party. On November 3, 2022, Posani Krishna Murali was appointed as the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation.

Argument with Pawan Kalyan
On the night of September 29, 2021, two unidentified men on a motorcycle pelted stones at the house of Posani Krishna Murali in Yellareddyguda. Earlier in the day, Posani held a press conference at Somajiguda Press Club and criticized actor-politician Pawan Kalyan for supporting the Andhra Pradesh government. Later, he reported in another meeting that he was abused by more than 5,000 people for his remarks against Pawan Kalyan. During this meeting, Posani was physically attacked by some unknown persons. Posani lodged the same complaint with the SR Nagar police station on September 30, 2021, following which the police arrested his attackers. The next day, Posani held a press conference where he described Pawan Kalyan as a “loafer” and an “agent”. He also claimed that Kayon’s fans were behind the attack on his home. Posani reportedly said that if he is killed amid the controversy, Pawan Kalyan and his fans will be responsible for his death.
