On December 27, 2022, Prahlad Modi was on his way to Bandipura, Karnataka, when his car met with an accident at 2 pm. According to reports, Prahlad Modi’s grandson suffered a broken leg when the car, which was accompanied by his wife, son, daughter-in-law and grandson, hit a guardrail. The other members were later admitted to JS Hospital in Mysore with minor injuries.
