Gypsy-Rose Blanchard’s newest “first” is a fall product!
As summer draws to a close, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star, who is currently pregnant and expecting a child with boyfriend Ken Urker, decided to kick off fall by trying the quintessential fall beverage: Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL).
Since being released from prison last December, the Munchausen by proxy victim — who served eight years of a 10-year sentence for her role in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard — has documented several “firsts,” including trips to In-N-Out Burger and Sephora .
In a new TikTok shared on Sunday, August 25, Blanchard, 33, took her followers behind the scenes of another “first” — her first sip of Starbucks’ iconic PSL.

“Good morning everyone! So today I’m going to get my first Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks,” she said to the camera from the passenger seat as Urker drove.
After Urker ordered them both coffees with milk to taste in the Starbucks drive-thru window — hot for Urker and iced for Blanchard — the couple tried the PSL.
After taking a quick sip and a moment to savor the taste, Blanchard enthused, “Oh, that’s good!”
“Fine, I’ll try the hot one,” she continued, before taking a sip of Urker’s drink and declaring, “I like it iced better” with a laugh, drawing laughter from her boyfriend in the driver’s seat.
“If it was a cold day, maybe warm would be better, but this is south Louisiana, so I like it iced better,” she added.

After the couple’s banter, Blanchard ended the video by saying, “Okay, thank you for joining us in our Starbucks experience. Hi!”
“I’m tasting the famous Starbucks pumpkin spice latte for the first time!!! 🎃☕️,” she wrote in the caption with a disclaimer about caffeine consumption during pregnancy.
“*DISCLAIMER* Women who are pregnant should consume a maximum of 200 mg of caffeine per day,” Blanchard wrote. “Caffeine is safe in moderation.”
This warning is repeated on the World Health Organization website, which states that “women with high daily caffeine intake (more than 300 mg per day) are recommended to reduce their daily caffeine intake during pregnancy to reduce the risk of pregnancy loss and low birth weight. [newborns].”

The couple’s PSL taste test comes more than a month after they revealed they are expecting their first child together.
Blanchard announced her pregnancy on YouTube on July 9. In the video, titled “I’m Pregnant, My Journey So Far,” she said: “I know the rumors have been going around for a while and I’m happy to announce that I’m 11 weeks pregnant.”
“Ken and I are expecting our first child in January 2025,” Blanchard continued, adding that “this was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected, but we are both very excited to embark on this new journey of parenthood.”
