Choreographing two stars was a challenge. Every superstar has his own style. For Naatu Naatu, it was difficult to combine two styles into one. I took it as a challenge. It took me two months to choreograph it. We shot for 20 days and did 43 retakes. When Rajamouli told me about Natu, I was scared because I was worried that one of the stars might appear less impressive than the other because of me. I need to show them with the same energy. We improvised a lot on the song until the end. “

We were a joint family but due to some difficulties we moved out in 1993. Life became difficult for the family. I knew that if I died, my dance union federation would give my family Rs 50,000 as compensation. So I decided to commit suicide. I cycled to Marina Beach in Chennai. But I realized that the person who lent me the bike would ask my parents to return it, so I went back and gave the bike back to my dad. “
