In an exclusive chat with PEOPLE about the latest Bath & Body Works collection based on the hit Netflix series, the 17-year-old actress also talks about the end of the series ahead of its fifth and final season.
“Filming is going great,” says Ferugson, a month after Season 5 was revealed Stranger Things it is half way through production.
“I believe everyone is fascinated by the finale and closing out the last season in such an epic way,” she continues.
Still, Ferguson admits he has to keep most of the show’s status under wraps, adding, “You know, I can’t say much, but it’s been great so far.”

Although filming for the final season has not yet been completed, Ferguson has an idea of what she would like to take with her when the show ends.
“I would love to get some of Erica’s Barbie dolls or something from her wardrobe – it’s the 1980s. I think some of her pieces are very cute and basic pieces,” she says.
As for what she’d like fans to remember about her character, Ferguson notes, “I really want Erica to be seen as an evolved character.”
She continues, “Erica, in the beginning she was kind of, I guess people labeled her as rude or annoying, but as you watched the show more and got to know Erica, I would definitely say that I want people to walk away knowing that she’s become what they want to see.”

While Stranger Things fans eagerly await the Season 5 premiere, Bath & Body Works has teamed up with the show to release the latest installment of their collaboration to keep them going — a new 15-product collection launching later this month.

While Ferguson is a big fan of each product, one that stands out to her is Eddie’s leather jacket, which is based on the character played by Joseph Quinn in Season 4 of the sci-fi series. “It has a nice note and makes me feel like I’m in a rock and roll band,” Ferguson tells PEOPLE with a laugh.
Bath & Body Works’ Stranger Things the collection will be available for purchase online and in stores on August 22. All four seasons Stranger Things are currently available to stream on Netflix.
