Prince Harry shared a playful moment from Team Australia into an Invictus games in Vancouver, carrying a light tradition between the prince and the humorous team.
In a video that is divided on Instagram stories by Meghan Markle, Harry responds to a very trembling gift – Speedo, also known as “Budgie Smugags” in Australia.
“And Team Australia, you did that again!” The Duchess of Sussex, 43, wrote, emphasizing the fun exchange.
After receiving a small swimsuit, the Duke of Sussex, 40 could not laugh, exclaiming, “So inappropriate! I love it. Thank you very much.”
The moment echoed with the past encounter an Invictus game, when the Australian athlete jokingly asked for Harry’s autograph on a couple of Speeddos while he was at the Invictus 2018 games in Sydney.
At the time, Harry joked that he would sign them – if the athlete carried them on his head! However, according to the royal protocol, the prince had to refuse to sign a personal object.

This year, however, Team Australia ensured that Harry got his souvenir, giving him a fresh couple.

Invictus games, founded by Prince Harry in 2014, celebrate the resistance and determination of members of the wounded and recovery from all over the world, which contains sports such as basketball in a wheelchair, sitting volleyball and rowing indoors.

After the London (2014) cycle, Orlando (2016), Toronto (2017) and Sydney (2018), Hague (when Covid-19 pushed the event back in 2022) and Düsseldorf (2023), the current cycle in Canada is a sports tournament first returned to the previous land country.
The Vancouver-Whistler games will also mark the new chapter for the competition, as winter sports will be housing alpine skiing, snowboarding, curling and skeleton-be involved for the first time.
