On William, Emily shared why the intense interest and scrutiny over the past few months must have been “incredibly difficult” for him.
The last few months have been ‘incredibly difficult’ for William. She says: “He went through it with his mother when he was young.
And this must be his worst nightmare. He did everything he could to protect his children and wife from this. And this situation must be incredibly difficult for him.”
Speaking later to The Daily Mirror’s royal editor, Russell Myers, who agrees that the situation has been “very upsetting for both of them”, Emily adds that the current situation must be “a trigger for him, especially in light of what his mother has been through . “
