She attended LRG High School in Anantapur. At the age of six, she developed a keen interest in acting after watching Aishwarya Rai’s Tamil film, Jeans (1998). She was mesmerized by Aishwarya’s looks in the film and told her mother that she wanted to become an actress. After completing her studies, Priyanka obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering. As soon as she graduated, she received offers for two short films, Possession and It’s a Girl’s Problem. After this, she started working for a multinational company in Hyderabad. At the same time, she obtained a diploma in fashion designing from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad. After that, she went to Harvard University in the United States to pursue an eight-month course in statistics. After returning to India, she joined the Bhikshu Acting School in Hyderabad to study acting.
