Putin puts 16,000mph doomsday nuke dubbed Satan-2 ‘that can sink UK in ONE strike’ on combat duty for the first time

VLADIMIR Putin has deployed the world’s most powerful Armageddon nuclear missile, dubbed Satan-2, on combat duty in a new threat to the West.

An “unstoppable” intercontinental ballistic missile system could “sink the UK” and is the size of a 14-storey skyscraper.

Yuri Borisov, head of the Russian Space Agency, made a chilling announcement earlier today.

He told students gathered at an event: “The Sarmat strategic complex has been put on combat duty.”

Borisov also said today that Russia will “most likely” separate the Russian module from the International Space Station after 2030.

The Armageddon weapon is 116 feet long and can be loaded with 15 light nuclear warheads at once.

The weapon was designed to carry out nuclear attacks on countries thousands of miles away in the US and Europe.

It has the potential to destroy the United Kingdom some 2,600 miles away in just six minutes.

And with an operational range of up to 11,180 miles, the deadly missile is said to have no equivalent in the West in terms of the terror it could cause.

The 208-ton missile was supposed to enter service at the end of 2022, but it was mysteriously delayed.

Russian propagandists boasted that one strike could sink Britain into the sea – but only one test launch passed.

Nine months ago, Putin threatened: “In the near future, the Sarmat ICBM will be put into combat duty for the first time.

“We know there will be some delay in time, but that doesn’t change our plans – everything will be done.”

He also said in June that the Satan 2 rocket would be commissioned, but his claims were only confirmed today.

Putin’s TV propagandist Dmitry Kiselyov had previously threatened Britain with retaliation over then-Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s comments about attacking Russia with nuclear weapons.

Downing Street dismissed the claim – often repeated in Russian state media – as “another example of Kremlin disinformation”, but it continues to be trumpeted in Moscow.

Kiseljov previously claimed: “The island is so small that one Sarmat rocket is enough to sink it once and for all.”

“It is capable of destroying an area the size of Texas or England. One launch, Boris, and England is gone. Once and for all.”

Putin’s allies regularly appear in the Russian media threatening nuclear Armageddon in World War III.

Despite the threats, the first and only known test of a full-scale Satan-2 was announced with great fanfare as soon as it took place on April 20, 2022, with Putin in contact via video link.

The following month, close Putin ally Dmitry Rogozin said nearly 50 Satan-2 missiles would soon be on combat duty.

In February, tests of the Satan 2 missile were held while US President Joe Biden was visiting Ukraine.

But the launch of the missile – which can deliver multiple nuclear warheads – appears to have failed, officials said.

Since the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict, Putin has repeatedly said that Russia is ready to use all means, including nuclear weapons, to defend its “territorial integrity.”
