Rahul started his career by singing at home and posting it on YouTube. His songs received a lot of appreciation and soon he started recording in the studio. Subsequently, he received offers from several companies. In 2012, he made his debut as a backup singer in the Telugu film “Speedunnodu”. He also got an offer to be a playback singer in the Telugu film “Josh”. Although he recorded his first song for the film “Speedunnodu”, it was released much later, making “Josh” his debut as a playback singer.

When he was stopped by police, he tried to run away and when caught he refused to provide them with his driver’s license and vehicle registration documents. Police registered a case against him, seized his vehicle and asked him to appear in court for counselling.
