Tamil Nadu rain schools closed in Madurai
Rain in Tamil Nadu: A holiday has been declared for schools in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai district due to heavy rains in the region. The holiday order was issued by the Madurai District Governor. Students and teachers are advised to contact the school authorities regarding the announced holidays.
According to local reports, the announcement regarding the holiday was made due to continuous heavy rains in Madurai. According to the India Meteorological Department, more rain is expected in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. In the last few days, Tamil Nadu has witnessed continuous rainfall leading to flooding in several parts of the state, including regions such as Karur, Pasupathipalayam and Tadavalaga.
The regions of Pasupathipalayam, Tadavalaga and others have witnessed continuous rainfall and floods for the past few days. The state government announced school holidays on November 4, 2023 in Chennai, Madurai and several other regions after which schools reopened in two days.
The school will be closed on November 13
The Tamil Nadu state government has declared a holiday for schools across the state on November 13, 2023, the day after Diwali. School holidays have been announced for the convenience of students, parents and teachers who will be traveling during the Diwali holidays. Classes will still be made up on November 18, 2023.

Closed schools in Delhi
Due to increasing pollution in the country’s capital, schools are closed for the early winter holidays. As per the latest notification issued, schools in Delhi will remain closed from today, November 9 to November 18, 2023. Primary schools have been asked to remain closed till November 10, 2023, as per the earlier notification which was then postponed with early winter vacation.
