Raj Zutshi is an Indian actor known for his work in Bollywood. In his acting career spanning more than 4 years, he has appeared in more than 100 Hindi films.

Rajendranath Zutshi (popularly known as Raj Zutshi) was born on Saturday, February 4, 1961, in Delhi, India (age 63; as of 2024). His zodiac sign is Aquarius. He attended Scindia School in Gwalior, where he collapsed in 1977.

Later he studied in a college in Delhi. During his studies he enjoyed reading poetry and acting in plays. Later he moved to Hyderabad where he joined a theater troupe and took great pleasure in acting in plays.

He later moved to Bangalore (also known as Bangalore) and started working in an advertising agency. While working in Bangalore, he met Nana Patekar, a film director and Indian actor, who asked him to come to Mumbai. He moved to Mumbai and became a professional actor.

In 1989, he married Nuzhat Khan, a clinical psychologist and film director who is the daughter of film producer Nasir Hussain She is also the sister of producer Mansoor Khan. Nuzhat is Aamir Khan’s cousin. His stepson Imran Khan (Nuzhat’s first marriage to software engineer Anil Pal) is an actor. They divorced in 2005.

After arriving in Mumbai in the early 1980s, he auditioned for a film directed by Ketan Mehta. His first Hindi film was 1984’s Holi, in which he played the role of Rajendra Zutshi. He later appeared in several films including Parda Hai Parda (1992), Maachis (1996), Lagaan (2001), Love Aajkal (2009) and Article 370 (2024 Year).

His first English-language film was 2004’s American Daylight; he played the role of Nirmal in the film. He later appeared in the hit film Slumdog Millionaire (2008). In 2012, he made his debut in the Assamese film Ekhon Nedekha Nodir Xhipare.
