Rajiv Thakur is an Indian stand-up comedian, theater artist, actor, television host and film director. In 2007, he participated in the Hindi reality television comedy show “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” along with other popular comedians like Kapil Sharma, Chandan Prabhakar and Sudesh Lehri. The show airs on Star One.

Rajiv Thakur was born on August 7 in Amritsar, Punjab, India. His zodiac sign is Leo. He attended Jagat Jyoti Model High School in Amritsar. He then pursued his bachelor’s degree from DAV College, Amritsar.
During college, he began to participate in various theater performances. After graduation, he studied for MCom from Khalsa College, Amritsar. But the Ministry of Commerce HOD did not allow him to take classes because he did not take the entrance exam and was admitted according to the artist quota. Later, he got admission in PGDCA from the same college. Even after completing his postgraduate studies, he participated in the cultural festival of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar.
