Rakesh Kumar (1941 – 2022) was an Indian film producer and screenwriter. He is known for directing famous Hindi films “Khoon Pasina”, “Mr Natwarlal”, “Yaarana” and “Do Aur Do Paanch”. He passed away on November 10, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.

Suryavanshi was his last film as a director, in which he collaborated with Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
