Remi Bader doesn’t let her current self-confidence diminish her long-term self-love.
The fashion influencer, 29, shared a TikTok video comparing her look for the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show to her look for The Tour ’23 Fashion Show Celebration. Last year, Bader arrived in a sheer frosted Jean Paul Gaultier dress draped over a red lingerie set, and spoke confidently about her look in an interview on the pink carpet.
“I don’t really plan on it. I’m really okay with it. Like today, I feel freaking good because I’m in Victoria’s Secret,” the social media star said in 2023. “I look good. I feel sexy. My boyfriend told me I look good .”
On Wednesday, Bader filmed a one-year-old interview clip in her glamorous ensemble for the fashion show’s return in 2024. As she said her words, she showed off her crimson Norma Kamali low-back dress.

Remi Bader reflects on weight loss and criticism in a new post: ‘I will always be the same Remi regardless of my weight’
In the caption, the content creator applauded both of her bold looks between the years.
“It looked hot last year, it looked hot this year,” she wrote and added “But I’m the only one who needs to tell myself that.”
In August, Bader addressed her weight loss and body image on Instagram in a long, candid account of how she’s received criticism from both sides of the spectrum, with some calling her “too big” and others calling her “too small” in different contexts.
“I hide a lot of my comments here for my own mental health. Words like ‘fat’ ‘whale’ ‘fat’ ‘skinny’ ‘petite’ to name a few,” she wrote alongside a video of herself trying on various outfits over the years. “But of course I still see them and it’s hard to see the constant conversation about my body on this app, because I also wonder why does that have to be the most important thing about me?”
She continued: “Last August I was too big for society, the people closest to me and a bad example to the world… this August I am too small for my community, too small for some brands, but still too big for many, and YET too big for society.”

She admitted that her vision of herself remains the same because she said her body has “fluctuated” for so much of her life. “My brain never understood whether I was bigger or smaller or what I actually looked like. Everyone on the outside was telling me that for me,” Bader added.
The Fangirl by Remi founder concluded by saying that she hopes to one day speak out about the “tremendous amount of trauma” related to her body that she has experienced in the past year.
“I’m much bigger than my body and I’ll always be the same Remi regardless of my weight, I’m sure of that,” she finished.
