Remi Bader Shows Off Body Transformation After 'Putting Myself First': 'This Is Not About Weight or Looks'

Remi Bader shows results because she put herself first.

On May 21, the content creator and body positive model posted a video of the transformation she made in the gym on Instagram.

In the “before” shot, the 29-year-old struggles to perform the basic exercise before shaking her head and giving up. An “after” clip then shows her successfully completing the same workout.

“A few months apart focused on my mental, emotional and physical strength,” Bader wrote over the clip. “This isn’t about weight, looks or appearance, it’s about putting myself first and finding myself again. Always put yourself first.”

“People come and go so remember that at the end of the day you only have YOU 🩷 thank you to those who have always supported me in my darkest and brightest moments,” she added in the description.

Remi Bader on being the ‘face of body positivity’: ‘I’m not going to pretend I love my body all the time’

Bader has come a long way in her overall health journey. In September 2023, the influencer revealed in a candid TikTok video that she struggles with overeating. She explained that she had a very emotional day, so she “answered that with eating, eating, eating, eating.”

Three percent of all American adults struggle with binge eating disorder, WebMD reports, defined as excessive overeating and feeling unable to stop, even when full.

The Victoria’s Secret ambassador challenged the idea that overeating is always a product of sadness. “It’s not that I’m sad. I live a pretty great, happy life.”

“This addiction is the only thing I can turn to for comfort,” Bader said.

Although Bader has improved over the years, she admitted that she still beats herself up over those setbacks.

“I knew what I was going to do. I want to be alone, I want to eat. I want to self-sabotage,” she said at the time. “It’s just the weirdest way to think.”

Despite the challenges she faces, Bader remains relatively positive.

“It’s a new day… it’s happened, it’s over,” she said.
