Remi Bader's Latest Fashion Launch Is Her Most Size-Inclusive Yet — and Everything Is Under $30 (Exclusive)

Remi Bader is once again expanding her fashion portfolio — and her latest launch is her most inclusive yet.

On October 8, Remi’s Edited by Remi Bader collection launched at Sam’s Club online (prior to launching in clubs on October 15), and is the brand’s first talent-driven collaboration. Not only is it true to size, but the pieces come at an affordable price (all under $30).

To make the collection even more special for Remi, she had to bring this project to life with her dad, Gary Bader, who has been in the apparel industry for 42 years and is a womenswear professional. Remi tells PEOPLE that they both learned a lot from each other during the process, which began over a year ago when Sam’s Club approached her to create this collection.

Remi Bader Glam Revolve Holiday Collection Has Everything You Need for the Holiday Season (Exclusive)

Comprised of more than two dozen pieces ranging in sizes from 00 (XXS) to 32W (6X) online and 4 (XS) to 28W (4X) in clubs, the new collection will feature what Remi calls “chic, affordable basics.” You’ll find denim, including jeans, jackets and skirts, bodysuits, dresses, button-down shirts, bomber jackets, sports and mesh pieces — because it wouldn’t be a Remi Bader collection without mesh.

Remi, Gary and the design team made sure to tailor the collection to the Sam’s Club customer, but incorporated certain features, such as a double layer on the mesh shirt so that it is not see-through except in the sleeves. The bodysuit also features a full coverage bottom instead of a thong, for maximum comfort.

Remi Bader on Pushing for Size Inclusion in Fashion — and the Work That Still Needs to Be Done (Exclusive)

Size range has been incredibly important to Remi, who has long championed inclusivity, whether it’s in previous launches, in other fashion collaborations, in her coverage of Fashion Week, or in everyday conversations.

“I said I just want to do [this collab] if it could be comprehensive … including sizing, which I hadn’t fully done before,” Remi tells PEOPLE of how he started the conversation with Sam’s Club. “Originally it was 5X online, and recently I pushed it to 6X because I felt that I was really trying, but [Sam’s Club] said yes. It wasn’t difficult with Sam.”

Remi adds that working with “a partner who cares so much about the inclusivity aspect” made the experience more fulfilling and easier, as they were able to achieve the common goal of a collection that was true to what Remi wanted and right for the customer.

Remi and her father — who is CEO of Seven7 Jeans — were involved in every step of the creation of Edited by Remi Bader. The TikTok creator says the “one thing” she didn’t really have a lot of say about was the price, but she was pleasantly surprised to learn that everything would be under $30.

“I had no problem with it,” she says.

However, she stresses that all of her pieces will be available online, but only a select few will be available in clubs to begin with, and you need a membership to shop in clubs. (Online orders can be placed without a membership.) Remi is a firm believer in taking small steps in the right direction, as long as you take those steps, and she sees it that way.

“It’s the beginning,” Remi says of this launch. “I care more about taking baby steps where maybe not everyone likes it, but for me it’s like I’m at the door.”

She jokes that even though they’ve barely launched the collection, her dad is already “going crazy” over what they’ve achieved together. And despite being a seasoned fashion professional — working on everything from Melissa McCarthy and Eva Longoria to BONGO Jeans and Candies Jeans — he learned from Remi, she says, because this was all new to them both.

“It’s crazy because it’s not just me working with my dad,” she says. “It’s working with all these different people who have their own different customers. It’s very different from my dad’s Seven7 customer to my followers, who I think are all different people, which is very different to Sam’s Club customers. So they all teach me from each other.”

In the end, Remi says she cares most about creating a collection she could call inclusive — clothes she’s been hesitant to use in the past because she believes it takes a lot to truly embody inclusivity.

“I’m going to say that for the first time because I literally didn’t say that word,” she says of her new collection. “… I was too afraid to say it.”

She adds that it is a topic and initiative that she will always care about, no matter what.

“Whatever size I am – for my own reasons or health or whatever – it doesn’t matter [with it] or it hasn’t changed what I really care about and never will,” she says. “I want to point that out. I actually think this is a very good time for this to be happening. It’s obviously something I’ve been working on for a while. … I will never change that. I honestly care a lot about it and I hope it resonates with people.”
