Reneé Rapp paid tribute to her Mean girls the original roots of the character.
At the New York premiere of the new Mean girls movie musical, Rapp arrived in a revamped version of one of the iconic costumes from the original film. The 23-year-old actress paid homage to her character Regina George’s original Spring Fling dress, wearing a Christian Siriano Spring 2024 design that included a corset and tuxedo.
The corset was placed over a tuxedo-like black satin jacket, which included shoulder pads and a peak collar. The dress continued with black satin down to the actress’ feet. The skirt of her premiere look featured a plunging slit and a short train.
