Reneé Rapp’s Bag Is Seriously Regina George-Coded

Reneé Rapp channels her Mean girls figure once more.

On Wednesday is the actress, 24, who plays Regina George in the new version of the movie musical bad girls, he was seen walking away from TThe Late Show with Stephen Colbertt rocking a blue Louis Vuitton bag. She paired the bag with a maroon leather top and skirt, along with sheer leggings and heeled boots.

The bag gave off similar vibes to the Pink Cherry Blossoms Pochette Louis Vuitton that Rachel McAdams wore when she played Regina in the original 2004 film. In the film, Regina is wearing a purse, which was part of a coveted collection in collaboration with Japanese artist Takeshi Murakami, when she takes Cady Heron (played by Lindsay Lohan) shopping at the mall.

The Louis Vuitton bag that Rapp carried with her birthday outfit last night was just as enviable, but less blocky, had a longer strap and of course, wasn’t pink.

Photos captured Rapp flaunting her clothes and bag last night … before collapsing on the pavement before several people quickly helped her to her feet.

She later poked fun on Instagram, posting a photo of her unmistakably running in pantyhose and a skinned knee. As she sat in the vehicle, she appeared to be drinking straight from a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne.

“I fell before I was drunk happy birthday,” she captioned the post, prompting her movie mom Busy Philipps to reply: “You really are my baby. Happy birthday bb.”

Mean girls New York premieres: see all the stars on the red carpet

At the New York premiere of the new movie musical, Rapp gave off similar Regina vibes in Christian Siriano’s Spring 2024 design, which included a corset and black skirt — which seemed to channel the original Spring Fling costume, a strapless baby pink satin dress with black accents thanks to the bodice for Regina’s character’s neck and back (thanks to an unfortunate encounter with a bus).

She paired the look with an array of black and silver rings, chunky silver earrings and a pair of black leather pointed toe heels. Her look was completed by blonde bangs in a relaxed blowout.

Mean girls is in theaters on Friday.
