Rich Paul Shares Rare Photo with Adele from His 43rd Birthday Bash: ’Smile and Enjoy Life’s Ride’

Adele and Rich Paul celebrated his birthday in style.

On Wednesday, the sports agent offered a glimpse of his glamorous birthday celebration with a carousel Instagram post featuring photos of him posing with his Grammy-winning girlfriend, rolling dice and driving a car.

“Smile and enjoy life’s ride, critics will always criticize what’s unique,” Paul captioned the post, which came four days after his birthday on December 16. “There’s no need to invest in a camera flash, it doesn’t last, just let the dice line up, the winner’s circle is colored by losses and comebacks, the weight is borne by the mentally strong and chosen by God, there are wise among them young and old.”

He continued, “I’ve been up and down and around 43 times and the thing I’ve learned the most is NEVER GIVE UP!!!! Thanks for all the wishes and support!”

In one photo, Paul was holding the steering wheel of a red car, and in another, he posed in a green unbuttoned shirt next to Adele, 35, while the “Easy On Me” singer sat on the seat, dressed in a black and white combination. Behind them was a graffiti-style painting with a “Rich” billboard and another “43rd” sign.

In the third slide, Paul threw two dice on the ground, while also showing the back of his shirt in the last photo of the post with a sign that said “Happy Birthday Rich.”

“I went up and down about 43 times, and what I learned the most is NEVER GIVE UP!!!!,” added the star before concluding with “Thank you for all the wishes and support!”

Earlier this month, Adele thanked Paul’s late mother for the way she raised her son. “I actually have a lot of men in my life that I love and who love me, but in the spirit of this morning and in fear of burning my bra, I’m going to thank their mothers, not them,” Adele said accepting The Hollywood ReporterSherry Lansing Leadership Award.

“I would like to thank Minerva Martin,” she continued. “Thank you for the lift [a] a good man who [does] do not think that a woman’s power diminishes their own.”

The artist then added: “That’s a real man. Thank you.”

Adele’s words come amid rumors that the two have tied the knot. According to two audience members, the singer was attending her friend Alan Carr’s comedy show in Los Angeles and shouted “I am,” when Carr asked if anyone had gotten married recently.

Adele and Paul made their first public appearance together at an NBA game in July 2021. At the time, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple had been dating for “several months.”
