Richard Cabral and his wife Janiece Sarduy’s troubles culminated in 2016 when the couple filed for divorce. Cabral filed for formal separation from his wife Sarduy on September 9, 2016, according to TMZ. TMZ even goes as far as to imply that he settled the divorce with a “personal touch”. They said he was “going alone”, and filed for divorce on his own. He has not engaged in the services of any divorce attorney. The divorce papers obtained by TMZ show that the couple had been separated since June of that year. In the process, he also asked to share custody of their two-year-old daughter.

And that seems to be because, despite court records, the couple never filed for a divorce.
