Rihanna Shuts Down Pregnancy Rumors as She Talks About Wanting to Be a Girl Mom: 'I Hope So'

Rihanna no longer wants to be the only girl in her family.

Speaking with Party tonight at the launch of her new Fenty Hair brand, the “Love on the Brain” singer, 36, said that while she’s not currently pregnant, she’s not ruling out the possibility of having more children. Rihanna is already a mother to sons RZA (2) and Riot (10 months), who she shares with partner A$AP Rocky (35).

When asked about her previous comments about wanting to have a daughter, Rihanna joked, “Look how that turned out,” referring to her two sons.

But when asked by reporters if this meant he would have “more kids,” the musician said: “You know what, I hope so. Yes.”

“I’m not pregnant if you’re wondering,” she continued, adding, “I would definitely have more kids.”

Rihanna also spoke with Extra at the event, noting that many people have asked her if she wants to grow her family.

“Everybody’s pushing each other. Look, if I ever have a daughter, I’m going to show her so much footage — she’s been talked about forever,” Rihanna teased.

When asked if she would like to add a little girl to her family, the musician replied: “Of course! A spicy little girl would be so much fun.”

In April, Rihanna spoke with Interview magazine and stylist Mel Ottenberg asked her how many more children she wanted to have.

“As many as God wants me to have,” Rihanna replied.

When asked if it was more than two, the musician said: “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course, if the other guy is the other guy.”

Last month, Rocky shared photos on Instagram to celebrate his son RZA’s second birthday. In the first few snaps from the family photo shoot, RZA and little brother Riot were laughing and playing while sitting on their parents’ laps.

Additional photos showed more candid moments with the family, from selfies of Rocky and RZA making the same face to pictures of the two boys enjoying the beach with their mom.

“HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY 2 MY 1ST BOY RZA ❤️,” Rocky captioned the photo carousel.

In an interview for New York PosOn Page Six in November, Rihanna shared that her relationship with Rocky has deepened since the couple became parents.

“I love him differently as a father. This is the main thing… it turns me on,” she told the newspaper. “It’s just like, wow. What a leader, what a great, patient, loving … and my kids are obsessed with him.”
