Robert Irwin fans are feeling lively!

The Australian TV host, 21, faced his fans’ opinions on a recent photo he shared on Instagram on Dec 1, 2024. And let’s just say they didn’t hold back!

“For God’s sake, I’m 71 years old,” read the photo, which showed Irwin in blue jeans and a white T-shirt. “I’ve never wanted to be a crocodile so much,” shared another, while a third wrote, “Anyone else just discovering they’re a cougar?”

When Irwin shared the original photo last month, he announced that he was happy to come out “of the khakis” for the photos, which were taken for the Australian magazine Starry.

Fan comments on Irwin’s original post were equally appreciative of the pictures, with one writing: “How he looks like his dad Brad Pitt and Prince Harry at the same time?” while another shared “Robert Irwin’s Thirst Trap was not on my list for 2024.”

In November, the conservator went into overdrive when he was immortalized as a wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Sydney, Australia. And the unveiling was made even more special by being placed next to his late father, Steve Irwin.

The star was visibly emotional at the event on November 28 when he laid eyes on dad Steve’s wax figure for the first time.

“It’s unbelievable. It’s the first time in a long time that he’s not just a picture,” said Robert as he fought back tears. Robert then shook his head, took a deep breath and went to compose himself, according to a video shared by News.com.au.

The robot’s father Steve was killed by a stingray at the age of 44 when Robert was just 2 years old in 2006. Steve and his wife Terri owned the Australian zoo where Robert and his sister Bindi, 26, now work, carrying on their father’s legacy.
