Rony Ajnali is an Indian lyricist and music composer who is well known in the Punjabi music industry. He has come into limelight for a few projects, including writing lyrics for the Punjabi film “Teeja Punjab (2021)”, writing lyrics for Jassie Gill’s song “Ki Chahida” (2023), and for the music album “Yo Yo Honey Singh” Lyrics written by: Karasta (2023).

Rony Ajnali started writing lyrics when he was around 15 years old. In 2019, he joined another lyricist Gill Machhrai, and the two became business partners and began writing lyrics and music together. In 2019, Rony and Gill Machhrai composed the song “Navi Navi Yaari”, which was sung and released by Diljit Dosanjh on his 2020 album “GOAT”.

- Punjabi singer Harjit Harman’s album Panjebaan inspired Ronnie to start writing lyrics and from then on, he started his journey.
- Rony and his business partner and lyricist Gill Machhrai met famous singer Yo Yo Honey Singh through singer and actor Prince Narula. The two lyricists wrote Prince’s song “Todh” in 2022, which was loved by Honey Singh, so Prince arranged a meeting for them.
- Before becoming a full-time lyricist and composer, Ronnie worked many odd jobs to make ends meet. Some of the jobs include tutoring children and delivering pizza.
